I Walked Away With My Fortune

The story

Claire's tenth wedding ends with her groom tying her to a utility pole in her white dress and helping his mistress deliver ninety-nine slaps. Left bleeding in a storm, Claire finally understands that her pain is the price of another woman's mood. From the hospital, she calls a different family with one offer: she will marry their heir if they help move every dollar of her fortune abroad in seven days.
